Serfruit has automated the new facility of Cooperativa Agrícola San Isidro (CASI Aeropuerto of Almería). The new facility has been visited by the president of the Spanish Gobernment. Mr. Mariano Rajoy Brey.
CASI Aeropuerto is the biggest fresh tomato processing plant in Europe, being able to process 40Tm/h, of product arriving from the field to the delivery of the finish product.
The installation is equipped with the most advanced technology, with a series of robots for depalletizing and track palletizing, sizers with internal and external quality control and fully automated logistics for boxes and pallets, all manufactured and installed by Serfruit.
